Hi! I’m Rebecca — baker, blogger, and chief crumb sweeper at The Bee Hive Bakery
Irish born, Michigan made. I hopped the pond in December 2021 and landed in Lansing with my husband, Devon, our creative director/taste-tester Willow (7), and baby Atlas (5 months), who is currently in charge of vibes and naps.
I’m also neurodivergent — I have ASD, Dyspraxia, and ADD — which means I notice details other people miss, think in flavors and textures, and keep a running list for everything. It shapes how I bake (methodical, sensory-aware, big on texture) and how I share (clear steps, visual cues, and practical tips).
On the blog, I’ll be chatting about all the good stuff: everyday lifestyle wins, beauty finds that actually deliver, cozy gaming nights (yes, snacks included), craveable food and bakery projects, local events worth getting dressed for, and travel adventures from weekend road trips to big flights — plus plenty more as life unfolds.
